WELCOME TO UTAH!

Hello everyone! I decided to come on here to check on everyone and how they are doing just to realize that I haven't been on here in forever. So this gave me the idea that I should probably start again. I figured this will be a new start to my life in Utah. Ive been in Utah for about a month now and I love it. I have no intention of moving back to California soon. Coming here was a huge leap of faith but I am glad I took it. I have been able to witness Heavenly Fathers arm extended to me everyday. There are a few things I like about Utah

1. There are temples everywhere. I love the fact that the Bountiful Temple is 3 miles away and the Salt Lake Temple is 7 miles away. Since being here I have taken advantage of the temples and have done baptisms a few times a week.

2. I love being here with family. My plan was to move out of Aunty Phyllis and Noelani's place as soon as I found a job but I love it here so much I don't wanna move out and they like me here so it works perfect. Its been incredible to hear stories and family history from Aunty Phyllis.

3. Utah is much slower paced than California and its clean and beautiful. Its nice to not see trash everywhere on the freeway and Ive witnessed some amazing sunsets since Ive been here. I know that once I start work and stuff but life will become hectic again and even more so when I start school in Jan. But I plan to not put myself in so many things that I have no time for me. Since being in Utah I have learned how much I LOVE to read. Right now Im reading a Anita Stansfield series and at times I choose to stay home from going out or stay up until3am just reading.

But all in all I'm enjoying the change in Utah. I do miss my Sequoia very much and hopefully Ill be able to bring her up here soon. I started my job at Teleperformance USA yesterday and I am very excited to be doing customer service for Verizon FIOS. I received two callings this past Sunday to be on the FHE Commitee and I'm the Building Coordinator. Things are falling into place and I keep counting my blessings.
